You can't talk about a true professional kitchen without mentioning tomatoes - sauce, shakshuka, pizza sauce and stews - tomatoes are the basis of the basis. There are quite a few good brands in Israel, but the high cost of living is causing many kitchens to forgo quality tomatoes from Italy.

Bogshall Professional embarked on a special project: we searched, tested, and tasted to bring the best product from the Italian soil to the professional kitchen – of the highest quality, without paying for expensive labels.

Our tomatoes are grown in traditional areas of southern Italy, mainly in Puglia and Campania, where the fertile soil and perfect sunshine produce rich, sweet fruit with a high solids content. The harvest is carried out only once a year, when the tomato is at its peak ripeness, and the best tomatoes are carefully selected for packaging, while tomatoes that do not meet the standard are sent to the free market or to the local industry. Unlike what is customary in Israel and other countries, where sometimes any tomato that looks reasonable goes into the packaging, in Italy the method is clear – quality before quantity.
