Vegshel Professional needs no introduction. But still, it's time to tell the whole story – how in just a few short years we transformed from an importer with a vision to a strategic partner of hundreds of institutional kitchens, restaurants, halls and caterers across the country.

While other companies try to “play with prices,” our principle has always been clear: We are here to serve the institutional market. Not with words, but with actions. Not with slogans, but with details. Not with advertising – but with taste, quality, and reliability.

We started small, but with deep thinking. We established a development and control system that is no less than international brands. Every product that goes on our shelves goes through a series of tests: from sourcing raw materials, through field trials, blind tastings, to a strict selection of only those products that at least 70% of the chefs, purchasing coordinators and tasters gave the highest score. Anything below that – doesn’t pass.

The goal was not to produce a simple product line. The goal was to provide a real solution to a market that already knows what it is worth – a market that is not looking for “cheap,” but for quality that will last over time. A product line that will work under conditions of pressure, series, catering, reheating. Products that do not fall apart, do not disappoint, and do not fall apart.

We took our time. We didn't rush. And we checked. And when we were ready – we set off. With pasta made from durum flour, powerful spices, fine Italian tomatoes, revolutionary cornflakes, tahini with real flavor, high-quality couscous, humal rice from Thailand, controlled canned goods, and dozens of other products – all in a uniform line of quality, stability and exquisite kosher of the Badatz Eda Haredi.

Our tomatoes, for example, are picked in southern Italy at peak ripeness – from a single quality variety, with a high concentration of solids – to ensure a professional result in every serving. They are not too sour, not too watery, and certainly not diluted. Each can opens easily, and the contents are accurate. No less.

Our pasta comes from European manufacturers who work only with 100% premium durum flour. With 13.5% protein, it keeps its shape over time, looks good even after the plate has stood the test of time, and absorbs sauces ideally.

The couscous, produced by a reputable company in Israel, underwent rigorous testing until we arrived at a formula that provides a delicate, absorbent texture that does not crumble or spread. Perfect for institutional use.

The Thai rice – a type of Homaly – was chosen after a series of tastings. Only it met the expectations of one texture, one flavor, and precise cooking time after time.

Our spices are a world in themselves. No more faded paprika or flat pepper. Our paprika meets ASTA 200 – twice as much as the norm. The pepper comes from Vietnam – spicy, aromatic, fresh. Each spice is packaged under strict conditions, with quality control that leaves no room for compromise. Even blends like Khawaij, Ras Al Khanot, Bharat, Chicken Grill – have been reworked, becoming a true tool of professional kitchens.

We have also invested in the cereal sector. Our cornflakes are the result of months of testing. From texture, through strength, to flavor balance. Without excessive sweetness, without aftertastes. A product that remains crunchy even after soaking in milk – and brings with it a competitive price and impeccable kosher.

And how is it possible without kashrut? We don't compromise: all of our products are under the supervision of the Haredi Badatz, and some of them also have additional kosher certifications, strictly from the Mehadrin. It's not just kosher - it's also a certificate of quality and order.
